Pixies Track Of The Week @JHus @bigdabbla @MRGOLDIE @LoickEssien @JusRival

J Hus – Did You See

J Hus brings a feel-good vibe to his new track ‘Did You See’ in his signature style over a JAE5 production. This brand new track will be on on his forthcoming debut album out later this year on Black Butter Records.

Dabbla – Arcane

UK Hip-Hop artist Dabbla has unleashed a visual from his project with DJ Frosty ‘Chapsville.’ He brings us quite a dark and sinister video for ‘Arcane’ matching the theme of the track which is produced by Elliot Yorke.

Goldie – I Adore You

Bit of Drum & Bass here courtesy of the legendary Goldie. This is his first single taken from his forthcoming album ‘The Journey Man’, out June 16th and comes complete with a heartwarming video.

Loick Essien – Foolish

Loick Essien is one of the best UK R&B singers, and this track will help you understand why. Taken from his ‘Terminal 5’ mixtape which dropped in Sep 2016, we now get the video to match which sees him with a special lady.

Rival – State Of Rivz

Rival continues his BISC series, this week giving us ‘State Of Rivz.’ The series is a free track every week inspired by a biscuit, this week it’s the Iced Gem. It’s an inspirational, motivational track. Click play below and have a listen.

Pixies Tracks Of The Week @OfficialChip @NewhamGenerals @CadellOfficial @IsaiahDreads @Scrufizzer @Saskilla @DJCameo

All my tracks seem to be Grime ones this week, and I can assure you they are all worthy to be included. From the cheeky ‘Feeling Myself’ to war track ‘Hotline’ and feel good one ‘Foolish’ this is why I can say safely say all Grime isn’t the same, so don’t put it in a box again!

Chip ft Kano & Wretch 32– Feeling Myself

I have to start with this one ‘Feeling Myself’ from Chip as it’s a proper feel good, funky track that is a production you would associate more with a hip hop tune than a Grime one, but it sure sounds good. It features quick witted, sizzling and cheeky bars from Kano and Wretch 32 as the three show different can be good. This will be on Chip’s forthcoming EP ‘Believe & Achieve – Episode 1’ out on May 4th.

Newham Generals – Soundboi Killa

The Newham Generals have done it again with this future classic ‘Soundboi Killa’ produced by the bass don Toddla T. When you hear these three names you know it can only mean one thing…it’s Grime, with reggae influences, plenty of bass with computer game sounds. The best duo in Grime kill it and control the mic like the dons they are. Their EP ‘N To The Gs’ will be out very soon too!

Cadell – Hotline

Woahhhhh so it’s sending season, and Cadell really caught my attention with this one I had to add it as one of my tracks of the week. The East London MC goes in for a whole host of MC’s such as Stormzy, Maxsta, Jammer, Elf Kid, Stelf, Mez and more in this one shot taken video called ‘Hotline’. Mez has sent a reply which I’ve put the video to called ‘#64 Bars Of Air Pie’.

Isaiah Dreads ft C4 – Foolish

Let’s take it back now to some more bouncy, happier vibes with the 17-year old Grime MC from Dorset Isaiah Dreads. We heard the track on Soundcloud which seems to have gained co-signs from DJ’s Target, Cameo, Phil Taggart, Huw Stevens, Mistajam and more who have all pressed play on it. Produced by the go-to producer Preditah and featuring his brother C4, this is a more uplifting, melodic track showing off Isaiah’s fast paced flow.

Gunplay ft Rick Ross & Scrufizzer, Saskilla and Maxsta – Aiight

Last but certainly not least, a US to UK remix here with Gunplay ft Rick Ross’ track ‘Aiight’ being given a Grime remix with three very hard lyricists Scrufizzer, Saskilla and Maxsta all going in over the remix which Darq E Freaker provided for them. S/O DJ Cameo for putting this one together, I look forward to seeing more of this from them.

Pixie’s Tracks Of The Week (@DeliBricks) (@NewhamGenerals) (@JHusMusic) (@Stormzy1) (@IsaiahDreads)

This week I pick five of my hottest tracks from last week from some old skool G’s to some up and coming MC’s.

Deli Bricks ft Corleone & Snap Capone – Fly Birds

UK underground rap at it’s finest with the first track to be heard from Deli Bricks new forthcoming mixtape ‘Finessin’ which is out 30th March. He’s joined by two hard barrers Corleone and Snap Capone for a street track. All three bring different elements and flows to the track making it one to bang out loud.

Newham Generals – Levels

A heavy, grimey, bassline track that I heard they played with My Nu Leng one of the producers for the track at Fabric on Friday setting the club alight. D Double E & Footsie show why they are Grime’s General’s as they pack the tune full of ad libs and punch lines.

J Hus – No Lie

J Hus has quite a buzz around his name at the moment and I myself named him as one to watch out for this year. His style blends Afrobeats and Rap and is a sound so fresh that people can’t seem to get enough of it. ‘No Lie’ is a pretty catchy track too that I can hear going off in a dance.

Stormzy – Know Me From

Stormzy who is everybody’s favourite MC and is set to cause some serious damage to the UK music scene. He returns with his debut single ‘Know Me From’ produced by Z Dot and featuring his mum in the video. He is just sick, no more needs to be said.

Isaiah Dreads ft C4 – Foolish

This upcoming, one to watch fresh Grime MC by the name of Isaiah Dreads is going to be a problem. At just 17-years old and from Dorset he brings something new to the Grime scene, his journey and lyrics. ‘Wait For Me’ produced by Preditah is a bouncy, go follow your dreams kind of track. He shows off his exceptional flow here too.
