The original track for Ain’t On Nuttin was a banger off Yungen‘s Project Black & Red out in late 2014 ft Sneakbo. Now he brings some serious talent for a remix ft Stormzy, Bashy, Angel, Benny Banks, Ghetts and Cashtastic. Shit! Just watch below.

I’ve named 5 of my top five artists to watch out for in 2015. See who I think has what it takes below and why…
Isaiah Dreads
A 16 year old grime MC from the West Country. He can already add to his credits performing at Glastonbury, Wireless and Isle of Wight as well as being Zane Low’s ‘Next Hype’ & Mistajam’s ‘Radio Ripper’ for track ‘U See Me’ produced by Preditah. He’s also received co-signs from other radio tastemakers Toddla T & DJ Target. Watch out for more from him this year including a mixtape.
Section Boyz
These guys have been on my radar for a while. A collective of rappers from South London including Swift, Deepee, Sleeks, Knine, Inch, Littlez & Reeko. 2014 saw them really cause a stir and got a lot more people taking notice especially with track ‘Delete My Number’ and mixtape ‘Sectionly’ making a big impact on the underground rap scene. 2015 should see the boys tighten up their game and really shine.
Novelist
I first met him in late 2013 and as I saw him freestyle in front of just a few people for a press day I was running I knew I was witnessing something special. Now he has everyone talking, the freestyle on Toddla T’s show over ‘Incredible’ was insane and he has released material on Rinse with Mumdance and now has signed to the legendary XL Recordings for new EP ‘1 Sec’. Founder of Lewisham grime crew The Square; they are essentially going to be the crew in years to come that rule.
Snowy
18 and from Nottingham, I spotted Snowy on social networks and a freestyle video on UGX with some of the other cities sick MC’s such as Dubzy, Vigilant and Fangol and DJ Cameo’s Gimme Grime freestyle alongside Manga and another that’s hotly tipped this year Izzie Gibbs. He really began to get recognition in 2013/2014 and in 2015 I look forward to hearing some really exciting new material from him. Go check out his soundcloud where you can hear two EP’s from him.
Potter Payper
This Essex rapper has been about on the underground for a little while, but incarcerations have held him back. 2015 should be his year and we will see a new project very soon to be exact 15/01/15 called ‘24’. Last year saw a host of videos and his mixtape ‘Training Day’ be released as well as an epic ‘Fire In The Booth’, ‘Crib Session’ on Westwood TV ‘Warm Up’ on SBTV and a lot more. On instagram we’ve seen potential collabs with Donae’o and Bonkaz. Watch out for him!
My first blog of the year and I’m going to start by writing about one on my main passions and one I’ve never written about before…eating out. I absolutely love it to the point in my late teens/early 20’s my mum used to questions how I could afford to eat out (at good restaurants) at least 3 times a week. Admittedly I have slowed down now to about once a week or once every two weeks.
With the opening of so many American style diners and restaurants across London, Clutch has became one of them opening in mid 2014 off Hackney Road in East London and it has begun to rule the roost. It’s described by them as ‘The home of guilt free fried chicken’.
Looking at the menu which consists of brunch, dinner, sides and sauces it wasn’t too difficult to digest and they say it is a healthy way of frying the chicken with groundnut oil for you health conscious eaters.
The concept is basically having three ways to prepare the chicken; a bucket with coatings of either sweet soy garlic or peppery buttermilk, love me tenders with either curry leaf & sesame or parmesan & lemon and wings with sour & spicy chilli or honey & sesame. We went for two half buckets with both flavors; sweet soy garlic and peppery buttermilk. We were debating over the love me tenders (goujons) with parmesan & lemon, as my friend so rightly put it “what could go wrong with chicken fried in cheese?”
The sides we went simply for one portion of twice fried fries and one of coleslaw. The sauces which were £1 each we chose roasted garlic & crème fraiche and chicken gravy. The sauces we chose went perfectly with the coatings we chose as the food arrived and we realised the peppery buttermilk which was a dry coating definitely needed the gravy and the chips tasted excellent with it too. The sweet soy garlic chicken was suited perfectly with the garlic crème fraiche.
I definitely favoured the peppery buttermilk chicken as I loved the crispiness of the batter with the tenderness of the chicken, whereas my friend favoured the soy garlic which was more of a sticky coating.
Drinks
The drinks menu was more painful to look at as it had so many good options of cocktails to choose from. We went for a simple elderflower and prosecco which was light and bubbly and went down a treat with the chicken.
Take note also there is a bar hidden away in a room behind the restaurant where you can also order food.
Worth a try?
We couldn’t even finish our chicken only eating 2 bits each from each bucket and taking 2 bits each home! The bill came to £30 each which is quite pricey but then we did have two drinks each too so it’s quite reasonable when you add that. The chicken is definitely worth the price and I will be going back to test out the brunch menu too!

Ghetts has had an outstanding year with his Rebel With A Cause album charting at no.23 in the Official Charts and a lot of shows including his ones coming up in November too. He releases a new single for us proving his work rate is not slowing down, Fire Burning features the vocals of Liverpudlian singer KOF.
This freestyle is tooooo much. Novelist goes in over General Levy‘s Incredible showing us why he is the future of Grime and showcasing how well he can spray bars over a jungle beat also. INCREDIBLE!
This track is definitely going to bang in all the clubs. Produced by the most sought after producers in the UK right now The Heavytrackerz, P Money kills the tune with his cheeky lyrics, fierce delivery and a catchy flow. This will be on his EP of the same name dropping soon.
Welsh D&B producer High Contrast has put his spin on the legendary record that is 2 Pac‘s California Love. I don’t think a lot of people should be doing this to such classics and it does hurt me sometimes to hear when people do, but this really isn’t bad. Check it out below and see what you think.
This tune is a Grime fan’s dream. Bloodline’s Meridian Dan is joined by fellow member President T and Grime’s favourite Wiley for So Much Cash, with the title speaking for itself. All three MC’s go in hard, but who is your favourite?
Did you ever think you would hear the day when Tinchy Stryder collaborated with The Chuckle Brothers! Well stranger things have happened and the unlikely pairing has happened indeed. The video titled with The Chuckles Brothers catchphrase To Me, To You sees them winding up Tinchy as he is trying to shoot an F64 for SBTV. This is all for a good cause raising money for the ACLT charity.
Colours Miyagi presents his second video from the mixtape No Vevo featuring fellow UK rap star Blade Brown – the 2 rappers seamlessly taking it in turns, creating another hustler’s anthem, complemented perfectly by a dark, bass-heavy and ominous Prince (Alwayz Recording) beat. This will be on his forthcoming mixtape Sunshine & Rain.
